Brand Story · 강화 + 거문도

A brand,
made of waiting.

Chapter 01 · Two Islands

Where the wind salts the leaf.

Ganghwa sits in the West Sea, where the tide salts the soil and the famed Sajabal mugwort takes root. Geomundo lies at the southern edge of Korea, a stretch of granite that holds the salt wind in every leaf. We harvest only what each island offers, only in spring.

Chapter 02 · The Wait

Two years of doing nothing.

The leaf is bundled and laid to rest in a wooden room — sometimes for two years. The raw bitterness leaves; the deep amber that defines a SSOOKK cup arrives. We do not hurry it.

Chapter 03 · The Cup

Caffeine-free, by nature.

Where matcha is built for awakening, ssook is built for descent. The leaf carries no caffeine — none, by nature — so the cup belongs to the late hour, to the moment a day finally ends.

Chapter 04 · The Skin

What the cup teaches the jar.

The same leaf, fermented for 120 days, becomes our serum and balm. Every product in the Beauty Line begins as something we would happily have drunk first.
